This week has been busy with a new visitor and kid activities. In between I have been sewing away on my villie fleurie quilt....nothing like orange peels everywhere. I still have a huge pile to go but at least I have sewn big piles too...too scared to count to see how many are left.....
The weather hit 48c yesterday and today it's only 41c with really strong winds...stay safe people :)
Looks good .....stinking hot here aw well💖
ReplyDeleteLooking good, cool change arrived this afternoon, hope it blows your way!!!
ReplyDeleteNice stitching..... Terrible heat...... Poor people in the leadville fire area.....
ReplyDeleteLovely stitching - and the weather statistics say Hay was one of the hottest places in NSW yesterday at 47.6 - I know of many places that it went way above that - think it is about time the temperature measuring for the weatrher reports was seriously looked at. We always add another 3 degrees to the 'official' temp - that is because our thermometers tell us it is hotter!! Fortunate here today - we dropped down to 18 degrees (which required long sleeves and track pants) - soooo much nicer!
ReplyDelete48C???!!! Oh my! Try and stay cool and fit in a bit of stitching.
ReplyDeleteYour stitching looks great. Hopefully a cool change will happen very soon for all of us. Hugs,xx
ReplyDeleteYes bring on the cool weather....that is Hades tyoe temps. I love your orange peels...did you applique your little corner segments on. I love that design but pieceing the quarter circles always put me off.
ReplyDeleteBlimey - record temps on one side, & record rains on the other - what's going on in OZ?!
ReplyDeleteGreat stitching there Deb, don't you worry about how much is left to stitch, look at all you've done so far, brilliant work!!
