Congratulations on the 250. I have no "claim to fame". Closest I've got was Shane Crawford (Hawthorn footballer)in his hey day! I also worked with his Aunty, does that count? :) hugs

ReplyDeleteI haven't met anyone famous but I would have to say my special someone would be my hubby who puts up with my dragging him to quilt shops whilst we are on holiday and patiently sits outside till I'm finished. Congratulations on your 250 posts. Hugs......

ReplyDeleteI was waiting for a flight at Sydney airport a few years back & Natalie Bassingthwaihte was at the next table with 2 men. She was wearing dark sunglasses. When she got up to leave she smiled at us as she walked past. That's the closest I've ever been to a celebrity. Congrats on your 250th post.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway... my only "brush with fame" was seeing Christie Brinkley and her daughter Alexa entering a restaurant in Kauai as we were leaving years ago. We later read that Alexa was having a birthday party there.

ReplyDeleteI once ran into John Jarrat & Micheal Caton many years ago. They had just bought property about an hours drive from where my parents live. I do mean ran into them too. They waled out of a shop as i was walking along the footpath & we all bumped into each other & of course i got autographs. :) Lovely giveaway. Hugs,xx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on this great milestone. Jimmy Barnes was in my grade in primary school. He was called Jim Swan in those days and I remember him well in his plastic Beatles wig in the grade 4 concert. Fun days.

ReplyDeleteA few years ago I met Joe Camilleri from Aussie band The Black Sorrows, in the Broome airport. He was not too happy as all the band equipment was flown to the wrong airport! But he was terribly charming and friendly anyway...

(But my plan is to revive it this summer while I'm on school holiday) How cool you got to meet Hugh :) I did meet Jessica Savich at a book signing and had her sign a book for my sister....and I got within a few feet of Paul Newman once at a car race ;) Thanks so much for your generosity with the give-away...I found you through the Inchy Hexagon Group we both belong to :)

Congratulations on your 250th :-) I don't think I have met anyone famous - but I am always excited when I see sports personalities up close - I was at the Singaporean Grand Prix a couple of years ago and saw Lewis Hamilton :-)

Congrats on 250 and you dont look a day older than 21....Can I say I met Neil & Tim Finn when I was 14 and am ashamed to say that I didn't know who they were..woops..have been very lucky to do workshops with Annie Downs, Rosie and Melly, Gail Pan, Natalie Ross and Libby Richardson so have met most of my stitching hereos - would love to go to McKenna Ryans studio and have a lesson in raw edge applique - thanks for the giveaway
