OPAM and a little bit more....

The month of April has flown by, school holidays, respite and a new addition. But...I did manage to finish one item completely this month, so I can only add one item to Peg and Kris's OPAM ( one project a month)..but I have a tick, yay!

Tis a new pattern release but of course I still need to finish the matching pillow.... Love working with ric rac lately...who knew lol... This has been in the works for a while, but I keep getting distracted ...

I think I'm a little addicted to Shiralee Stitches's Old Time Kaleidoscope BOM...I've prepared blocks 3, 4 and almost finished 5 as we are away next weekend for a week, so I will need plenty of hand sewing to keep me busy!!

I love Sandys pics demonstrating the fussy cutting...wasn't really a fan when the BOM started, but after Nundle and seeing the beautiful Lucy Boston and OTK blocks, I couldn't say no!..

Our house has been full since we came home from the Opal Mine...we have had 2 sets of kids for respite and last week we welcomed  a  cute 3 year old girl.....part of my sewing time is now replaced with bathing babies dolls, drawing and cups of tea (sand and water with a bit of grass lol).
